Every aspect of this federal-style home inspires your imagination — the stories that would have been told around the period fireplace, and the epic writings that were first put on paper in this very home. 

There’s nothing pretentious about this home. It’s a home in its most intimate and inviting space. The warm oak walls and flooring are authentic, lived in yet well-cared for. It doesn’t matter if it’s glacial or sunny: the scene at your front door is mesmerizing and magical. Samwise was a simple, loyal Hobbit who changed the world. That’s what people come here to feel.

You can’t get any more central in Boston—all sightseeing at your feet , MGH is a six minute walk.  The location is unbeatable anywhere. You step out and the cobblestone instantly makes you wonder what it was like to live here over 200 years ago. The neighborhood is postcard perfect.

We take your health, safety and experience extremely seriously. We have enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols and pay close attention to all the CDC recommendations. We’ve stepped up our cleaning game: there’s not a doorknob, light switch or cable that isn’t sanitized between stays, and our cleaning staff wears protective gear for everyone to stay safe.
