About This Event: 

This inspiring panel event series invites key players in Boston's design community to offer a rare insider’s look at how they work and create. From branding to user experience to city planning, panelists will discuss how they approach projects from a design point of view, how design thinking methods help with problem-solving, and much more. 
3D Printing & Design with Formlabs

In December, General Assembly is inviting Formlabs and local 3D designers and artists as we explore their careers paths and hear how they got started in 3D design. We will also discuss ways that 3D printing has opened up doors for innovation and what industries we anticipate will benefit the most from this new medium. 

Why It Matters: 

Affordable professional 3D printers are giving entrepreneurs and small businesses the tools they need to start companies and create amazing things. The ability to create low-cost prototypes in-house has opened the door for countless inventors and creators who previously may have been unable to get their projects off the ground due to cost.
